Excellent preset for Datamoshing - Avidemux 2.5

Touch nothing else on MPEG-4 ASP (Xvid) encoder preset.

Frame:
Interlaced: <any, except off>
Maximum I-frame Interval: 5

B-Frames:
Maximum Consecutive B-frames: 2

Quantiser:
Quantisation Matrix: MPEG Matrix

Set the audio to AC3 audio, because if you don't the audio will appear to go faster on Windows Media Player and will stutter on VLC.

Then use AviGlitch tool using Ruby (install Git, it comes with Bash and MINGW, which can natively run Ruby and Bash) :
$ sudo gem install aviglitch

then

datamosh (file).avi

WARNING: This does not support 720p60 or 1080p60 video. Make sure you downmix the video to 30fps before attempting this.
WARNING: DO NOT USE NEWER VERSION. They don't work that way. Only use 2.5.x version.
Tip: The more colorful the video is, the more mushed the video will look. My experiment with music videos and JaboodyDubs' video, as well as a footage from IMCF event ended up with extremely mashed video.

Steam-Idle GUI frontend - Enwitched! (Available on GitHub)

Check this out! It's my first real repo on GitHub! :D

This does all the explaining for me, so check it out:
https://github.com/UnforeseenOcean/Enwitched-Steam

Q: What is this?
A: It's a program for idling in games you own, using Steam client. It doesn't actually turn on your games, it just emulates it being run over by a REIGNdeer.

Q: Will it get me banned?
A: No, but just to be safe, don't do it on Valve games. (like Portal, Team Fortress 2, and Counter-Strike)
Also, don't start iding while playing other games on Steam!

WTF is this chip? (ATMEL604)

I enhanced the photo a little bit.
The letters are engraved with laser and there is no Atmel logo anywhere on the chip.
I think it came from some sort of dodgy heated bed matress controller (different from most of those controllers here -- which either uses LMXXXX OP-AMP chip, a trim pot, or Samsung/Microchip/ST Semicon programmable IC chip)

If anyone knows what this is, please leave a comment below.

EDIT: This is a two-wire EEPROM chip from Atmel. What am I supposed to do with this?

Notepad++ Email address finder

Since NONE of search results here gave me exactly how to FIND email addresses from a set of text, here's what I came up with, in Regular Expressions:

\w*@\w*
Yes, it's that simple. Just throw that into Find What field and watch the magic happen.

This code is only useable in HTML documents. For non-HTML coded "non-Ampersand" ones, use this:

\w*@\w*
